Shipping is an important activity for the Group to support its trading operations. The Group through it’s subsidiaries and associates owns and charters 5 bulk bitumen tankers of up to 5000 MT capacity. In addition the Group has Contracts of Afreightment with other shipowners in the region – providing access to more than 30,000MT of bulk bitumen tonnage.

Richmond also charters dry cargo vessels (i.e. Panamax and Handymax vessels) from the international market for products like metcoke and limestone in addition to it’s ongoing chartering and break-bulk shipping activities for drummed bitumen.
