Richmond is an innovative Group and has established several benchmarks in delivering cutting edge supply solutions to its clients. These include:
- The supply of almost 2.5 million MT of steel slabs and hot rolled coils from Iran to India
- Crude oil processing and the establishment of complex cross-boarder delivery solutions for products from CIS countries
- Supplying the largest volume of drummed bitumen from the Middle East to China and Africa. Richmond’s associate company in Iran, received the National Award for the largest manufacturer / exporter of drummed bitumen.
- Establishing the first private temporary bitumen export facility from Iran, prior to establishing a permanent tank-farm.
- Setting up the first ever storage facility for import of bulk bitumen into India in 1998. Today, the group is still the major importer of bulk bitumen into India.
- Establishing, along with its associates, the first (and only) port-based bitumen export facility in Bandar Abbas, Iran – capable of loading vessels upto 7000MT.
- Exporting the first ever bulk bitumen cargo from Aramco Luberef, Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
- Exporting the first ever bulk bitumen cargo from Haldia, India
- Exporting the first ever bulk bitumen cargoes from Iran to the Far East, including China and Korea
- Delivering supply solutions to international organisations in challenging environments including U.S. Aid Projects in Afghanistan
- Supplying more than 25,000MT per month of bulk and drummed bitumen worldwide.
